So, what’s it like to work with me….. Oh.. good question.. please read below :)
What am I like ?
I’m a easy going happy person, enjoy the arts, especially photography and music.
I’m easy to communicate with, and as such, I do respect and appreciate good clear communication.
Do I have references you can check:
Yes - My References are available on the sites listed in my BIO page.
You are more than welcome to follow the links to the various model websites, especially ModelMayhem (bulk of the references are available there) and check out what other models have said about me, and contact them for more information if you wish.
Please ensure that you have references available, unfortunately Instagram comments and images are not considered references. Preferences given to those who have a direct website or professional portfolio online like ModelMayhem, Purpleport etc, with credit ratings and previous tagged work (model and photographer both tagged in the image).
Model Release Form - Do I use them? - Yes.
Every shoot begins with a model release form, ID and a mug shot to go along with it, so you will need to ensure you bring along a current legal ID, like a Passport, Drivers Licence, Government issued ID, etc. It must be current, have a clear photo of you on it, and your date of birth, etc.. you must be over 18 years of age and mentally fit to sign your own contracts. The ID will be photographed along with you as proof.
A copy of the model release form will be emailed to you for your reference. You do not have to print it out, as it will be signed electronically at the time of the shoot and it will email both of us a copy. I use the industry-standard APP “Easy Release” with a customized release form.
Will I host (traveling models) for shoot time:

I have hosted over the years, but it is dependant upon my personal circumstance at the time. If I do host you, It is expected you will treat my place and it’s contents with respect and not leave a mess. I will ask for references from you, and likewise you’re free to check my references for hosting also, see my BIO page for more information about that - Feel free to get in touch and we can discuss closer to the time.
What to expect on a shoot:
Promptness and good communication are first and foremost. I’m easy going with shoots and being on location, I’ll generally have an end-objective, so some shots might not seem to make sense at the time.. there’s the editing and finishing to happen yet.
I’m also very open to ideas, so please feel free to throw around ideas or if there’s anything in particular you’d like to try, do let me know.
Transport and food:
Where possible, I’m generally ok with picking you up and dropping you back to your base, and depending on how time goes, we might stop at a cafe and have a bite to eat - no alcohol before a shoot though, safety and sensibility first. If I am picking you up, you will be ready at the agreed pickup time so that we are not late.
Can you bring an escort to a shoot:
Yes, absolutely you can, but there are some guidelines…
Both you and your escort must be comfortable being around you if the shoot contains nudity.
The escort must NOT interfere with the shoot, or interrupt or be otherwise a distraction… otherwise they will be asked to leave or the shoot called off at your expense.
The escort may be asked to be another pair of hands, help hold lights, run around and do things, and assist you directly if you are posing and your hair needs adjusting or a arm moved, etc, so please make sure you’re ok with your escort physically touching you if needed.
Professionalism, Health and Safety, Expectations
At all times, safety comes first.
I expect that everyone at the shoot will act respectfully and professionally. If anyone feels uncomfortable, do not hesitate to talk to me, and I will do my best to remedy the issue.
As an outright rule, there will be NO use of any drugs, alcohol, illegal substances during the shoot (this is applicable to everyone) What you do after the shoot is up to you, however if I feel you are under the influence I will call off the shoot (at your expense).
You should be ready and on-time to start the shoot at the designated time and location, if you need time to prepare, ensure you have done so before the shoot start time, or arrive early enough so that you are ready to start at the agreed time. If I am picking you up, you will be ready at the agreed pickup time so that we are not late.
Image Use:
Images may appear on my website, social media, for sale, competitions, books or other print or digital media, professional model/photographer related websites like ModelMayhem, PurplePort etc, but will NOT ever be placed on pornographic sites or ever marketed as such.
Tagging Artists:
As long as you have no objection, I will always attempt as best I can to tag you in any images - Using your Professional Name - Not your real name, unless that’s what you prefer.
If you don’t want to be tagged, just let me know.
Copy of images for the artists:
On TF shoots, I am happy to share an approved set of finished images.
On Paid Shoots, out of appreciation for your work, I may offer one or two images that have been finished/edited, most of the time I will allow the artist to select them, and I will give them a basic edit/cleanup.
In both cases: - Refer to the Model Release / Shoot Contract for more information.
- Images supplied may not be used for financial gain (unless it was a TFP shoot), and may not be altered (including watermarks) in any way or by any method other than how they were supplied.
If you wish to edit some images, you must seek direct written approval from myself. Please do not hesitate to talk to me about this.. I’m open, but may ask to see your previous editing work. Please remember, unless you’ve hired me, I own the copyright to all the images/video/media, and as such reserve the right over final say and usage of the images.
